First Security employs rigorous recruitment and selection methods, followed by thorough training and staff testing ensuring all officers are fully vetted and licensed to nationally recognised standards.

Security officers

First Security hand picks officers for every deployment to conform to a contract-specific "personnel profile" and "job specification". Officers complete training shifts on the deployment site before the assignment commences.

All our officers have passed a rigorous recruitment process. This involves two face-to-face interviews, stringent screening procedures, and in-house induction training culminating in an examination.

First Security's manned guarding force is one of the largest in London.

Mobile patrols

First Security's mobile patrols service offers checks of premises where the security need does not require an on-site officer.

An electronic monitoring system is installed to record patrols, with details regularly forwarded to the client.

Front of house receptionists

Our "front of house" receptionists offer consummate customer-facing skills and a professional image, in addition to the general security capabilities provided by our in-house training.

Receptionists complete on-site training ahead of deployment and are uniformed to the client's wishes.

Keyholding and alarm response

First Security can be key-holders for premises protected by an intruder alarm, taking the responsibility and risks of responding to any incident away from a client employee.

A First Security response officer attends the premises quickly, dealing with any incident themselves or contacting the emergency services where necessary. The officer remains on site for as long as required.

We provide a written report on any activation within hours of the incident.

Support services

To ensure continuity of service, First Security always has reserve officers and receptionists site-trained and familiar with every assignment.
