Main Responsibilities:

As per the Assignment Instructions following procedures for entry to the premises by Staff, Contractors, Visitors, Emergency Services etc. Ensure that all persons requesting access to the premises are fully identified as being authorised to enter.To undertake patrols and record them either in the Site Log Book, or if an electronic system such as  “Deister” has been installed to use that system to record their patrol activity. Ensuring by an effective foot patrol of the premises that the possibility of damage either by fire, water, theft or vandalism is reduced. Attempting to detect where possible those responsible for injury, losses or malicious damage to the client, their property or their premises. Reporting any breakages or abnormalities noticed whilst on patrol

To provide an obvious Security presence, protecting the premises from possible unauthorised entry by deception or the use of force and as a result reduce the possibility of the loss of goods or damage to the Client’s business occurring.

To provide assistance to members of the Public, remaining calm and politeWithin the restrictions resulting from the Data Protection Act to operate CCTV systems were directed by the clients and to react to incidents.

To complete all paperwork accurately and neatly and forward it to the appropriate personnel as required.

To ensure all incidents are dealt with and that Incident procedures are adhered to

To be professional when answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
